Description

Pole clamps are rugged fastening devices designed to secure cables, conduits, or hardware to poles and towers. Constructed from durable materials like galvanized steel or stainless steel, a typical pole clamp assembly includes two semicircular halves (the clamp body), a reinforcing plate, an inner liner for surface protection, and high–strength bolts. By tightening the bolts, the clamp halves grip the pole’s circumference firmly, providing a reliable anchor point for messenger wires, cable bundles, anchor rods, and other fixtures.

In applications requiring a recessed, low-profile mounting, an embedded pole clamp consists of left and right semicircular shells that interlock around the pole. Each shell features outward-bent “installation ears” with matching grooves and pins; when assembled, the pins seat into the grooves, creating a secure joint without protruding hardware. Common variants include cable clamps, telephone-pole clamps, anchor clamps, and messenger-wire clamps—each optimized for specific load requirements and environmental conditions.
