Description

Key Features

  • Bottom Mounting (Foot):
    • Slotted base “foot” allows for quick bolted installation on cross‑arms or brackets
    • Oversized slot accommodates slight alignment variations in the field
  • Composite Body:
    • Silicone Rubber Housing: Hydrophobic, UV‑stabilized surface sheds water and contamination to minimize leakage currents
    • Fiberglass Core Rod: High tensile strength (typically 40–70 kN MBL) supports conductor tension, ice and wind loads
  • Insulating Fins:
    • Multiple sheds (fins) increase creepage distance, reducing flashover risk in polluted or coastal areas
